SUPPLY INFORMATION / ORIGIN & TRACEABILITY

Clear origin.
Documented supply.

01 / INFORMATION FRAMEWORK

The records behind
the opportunity.

The initial document pack should make the company, source, material, and shipment arrangements easier to assess. Further information may be needed for the specific origin or buyer.

01

Identity & authority

Company information, seller role, producer details, and evidence of the right to offer the material.

02

Origin & chain of custody

Production location, processing history, custody records, and relevant mineral traceability documents.

03

Material & lot information

Specification, assay, sampling method, quantity, lot markings, and availability timing.

04

Export & shipment records

Applicable export permissions, packing details, loading point, and proposed delivery arrangements.

03 / TIN · TANTALUM · TUNGSTEN

Traceability
needs its own detail.

For tin, tantalum, and tungsten, the production chain and custody records are a specific part of the discussion. Identify applicable traceability systems, supporting records, and buyer requirements.

A seller’s statement alone does not establish a complete documented chain. Required evidence depends on the material, origin, counterparty, and proposed transaction.

04 / BEFORE A COMMERCIAL PROPOSAL

Resolve the
information gaps.

Documents should relate to the actual offered lot and identifiable parties. Explain any missing information and distinguish current stock from future production.

01Which documents should be included first?

Start with company identity, seller role, production origin, material specification or assay, lot quantity, current location, available traceability records, and applicable export information.

02Is a certificate or assay enough on its own?

A specification or assay describes part of the material information. It does not, by itself, establish authority to sell, production origin, chain of custody, or export eligibility.

03Can a developing project be presented as an available lot?

State the project and production status clearly. Prospective production should be distinguished from material that exists and can be offered for a defined shipment.
